Lead Singer/Rhythm Guitar: Matt Clarkson
Born and raised in South Charleston, OH. Matt grew up listening to mostly classic rock such as CCR, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Outlaws and many others. Matt picked up the guitar at the age of 17 and his Father, Scott Clarkson, began to teach him to play. Matt started playing solo shows live around 2011 and decided to form Matt Clarkson Band around 2018 with current fellow member Kelly Bush. Matt is known for his natural rasp, wide vocal range and his unique song writing ability. While being the Front man and face of MCB, Matt enjoys golfing, spending time with his wife and two boys.
Lead Guitar/Rhythm Guitar: William Dekle
Born in a small town in North Georgia in 1993. Joining the band in 2020, William rocks a Gibson Les Paul and a very aggressive playing style that help define the distinct riffs and sound of MCB. George Lynch, Gary Rossington, Joe Bonamassa and Warren DeMartini are among some of his core influences. Outside of music he works full time as a Firefighter/Paramedic and enjoys watching baseball and football, playing golf with friends and spending time with his two kids and wife.
Lead Guitar/Rhythm Guitar: Kelly Bush
Raised just outside of Springfield, Ohio, Kelly is one of the founding members of MCB. He brings a very technical and classic vibe to MCB. His playing style is influenced by guitar greats such as Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix and David Gilmour. The smooth tone and crisp leads add a dynamic to MCB that is hard to match. Kelly attended Wright State University where he majored in Economics. Kelly enjoys spending time with his wife, listening to music, playing golf and watching the Columbus Crew.
Bass Guitar/ Back-up Vocals: Spencer Barnett
Spencer is a small-town Ohio guy with a huge passion for all things music. With a family of musicians, it was hard to see him NOT becoming a musician growing up. He plays multiple instruments (with his first love being guitar) but loves being a on bass guitar for MCB. He says, "It's awesome to just get in the pocket and hang there while everyone does their thing." Besides music, he enjoys the simple things, like a cold beer, sunshine, maybe some golf with the boys and quality time with the family.
Drums: Ryan Fyffe
Ryan was born in Dayton, Ohio. He started playing drums at the early age of 3 and has since picked up the guitar and has evolved into a front man of his own in many other projects over the years such as Ryan Fyffes solo work and Azphalt Dazy. Ryan brings a very boisterous style of play with his drum fills and his go big or go home attitude that have a major influence on the live MCB experience. You can catch him singing and playing guitar at many venues around Springfield, Ohio when he’s not playing alongside his fellow members of MCB. Influences include Dave Matthews Band, Live, Counting Crows and many more.
